Welcome to Melbourne Affordable Housing

EXCITING NEWS!

After careful consideration, discussions with all stakeholders and appropriate due diligence the Board of MAH has determined to merge the company into the Housing Choices Australia Group. The legal structure is now in effect with a newly formed Common Board and Management Group. Please see further information within the website. This in effect provides a greater capacity to deal with the funding and national policy settings currently being implemented. The newly formed Housing Choices Australia will be relocating to a new office very soon.

Stay tuned for more updates!

MAH is a not-for-profit developer, owner and manager of affordable, long-term rental housing.

By working in partnership with local government, churches, community groups and developers/public companies, MAH seeks to provide appropriate, secure, well located and affordable housing to low income individuals and families who have experienced high rents, insecure tenancies, poor conditions and even homelessness.
Many projects are developed in conjunction with partner organisations working with specific target groups. A community development approach is used to determine local housing needs, create linkages with local agencies and, where possible, seek input from prospective tenants to design properties.
